OWINGS MILLS, Md.- The Stevenson women's swim team opened up their home schedule against Hood and Goucher, Saturday afternoon. The Mustangs fell, 128-50 against Hood and fell, 124-57 against Goucher.
The Mustangs started off the day with a win in the 100 IM. Emily Wolff and Jennie Hudson took the top two spots while Mackenna Krouse placed fourth and Zoe Pflieger placed sixth. Wolff claimed another first place as she touched the wall at 1:06.15 to win the 100 butterfly.
In the 500 freestyle, Wolff added another top-three finish on the day as she claimed third with a time of 6:11.82. In the 100 breaststroke, Hudson finished second with a time of 1:14.84 and Krouse finished fifth with a time of 1:22.14.
In the 200 freestyle, Krouse finished third with a time of 2:23.75. Wolff claimed second in the 50 freestyle coming in with a time of 27.03 while Pflieger placed fifth clocking in at 29.78. In the 200 IM, Hudson finished second with a time of 2:31.10 and Krouse finished fifth coming in with a time of 2:38.42. Hudson (1:00.80) finished third while Pflieger (1:10.26) finished fifth in the 100 freestyle. Pflieger took the fifth spot in the 100 backstroke as she touched the wall at 1:21.00.
The Mustangs put together seven season best times. Wolff and Hudson's 100 IM moves them to third and fourth respectively in top program times.
