Bowes Scores Four in Win Versus Randolph-Macon

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Senior Carly Bowes lead the Mustangs with four goals, and Sophomore duo of Caroline Murphy and Hannah Huff each tallied three goals towards a, 15-7 Stevenson University women's lacrosse win against Randolph-Macon on Saturday Afternoon at Mustang Stadium.

  • Stevenson (1-2) opened the game with a Murphy draw control that turned into a Huff goal at the 29:07 mark to give the Mustangs a 1-0 lead.
  • At the 27:49 mark, Huff turned around to send her second goal of the game to give the Mustangs a 2-0 advantage.
  • Murphy found the back of the net at the 26:33 mark to make it a 3-0 game.
  • Just 19 seconds later, Murphy secured a draw control for the Mustangs to get a Bowes goal at the 25:16 mark, 4-0.
  • Randolph-Macon (2-3) Lauren Schweiger put one on the board for the Yellowjackets on a free-position shot at the 21:03 mark.
  • The Mustangs scored four consecutive goals of the game in 1:24 span.
