Winning Streak Halted at Five For Women's Tennis

SALISBURY, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to host Salisbury (#14 in Atlantic South Region).

Juniors Jenna Skove and Kelsi Mentzer dropped their first match in the last five by a score of 8-1 in No. 1 doubles. Senior Kirstyn Davidson and sophomore Megan Waskiewicz dropped to 8-6 on the year after falling in their No. 2 match by an 8-2 margin.

Skove fell in her No. 1 singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, while Davidson dropped her No. 2 match by 6-2, 6-2 score. 

Junior Nina Bretz lost a tough 7-5 first set in No. 4 singles before falling by a 6-0 margin in the second.

The Mustangs (8-4, 4-0 MAC Commonwealth) return to conference play in a home match against Messiah on Wednesday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m.
