Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson University women's basketball team trailed No. 8 Messiah by just two at halftime and cut a 19-point deficit to seven late, but a third-quarter surge by the Falcons lifted them to their 14th straight win, a 56-47 decision in MAC Commonwealth action Wednesday night at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
- After three ties, Stevenson (6-9, 1-5 MAC Commonwealth) took an 8-6 lead at the 4:36 mark on a basket by Jonyae Curry.
- Messiah (14-1, 6-0 MAC Commonwealth) scored 12 straight points to build an 18-8 lead on a Megan Zimmerman basket with 57 seconds left.
