HOBOKEN, N.J. – No. 18 Stevens Institute of Technology scored all five goals in the second half as it rallied past No. 14 Stevenson University for a 7-5 non-conference men's lacrosse victory Tuesday night at De Baun Athletic Complex.

The Ducks (13-3) extended their win streak to eight games, while the Mustangs (10-5) suffered their second straight loss to a nationally-ranked opponent. All five setbacks for Stevenson this season have come at the hands of ranked foes.

After each team scored once in the opening quarter, the Mustangs scored four times in the first 4:13 of the second quarter to take a 5-1 lead.  Senior Kyle D'Onofrio scored at the 14:02 mark, followed by a JT Thelen tally at the 11:56 mark.  Thirty-three seconds later, Sean Ohlhaver made it 4-1 with his second goal of the game, while Thelen's second goal of the game at the 10:47 mark pushed the Stevenson lead to four.  John Boutureira scored at the 8:16 mark to make it 5-2, which remained the score at intermission.

The Ducks tied the game 5-5 with 3:09 left in the third on a Dean Peluso goal, then Tim Leahey scored with 38 seconds left in the frame to give Stevens its first lead.  Connor McKeon scored the lone goal of the fourth quarter at 7:45 to account for the final.

Ohlhaver gave the Mustangs a 1-0 lead at the 8:49 mark of the first quarter.  Eric Radbourne tied things up for the host with 2:13 remaining in the first frame.

Stevens goalie Carson White made 15 saves to earn the victory as the Mustangs outshot the Ducks 46-28.  Senior Ross Dinan turned aside seven shots.  Stevenson won 10-of-13 faceoffs and had 14 caused turnovers, its third highest total of the season, and committed 19 turnovers to Stevens' 25.  The visitors also picked up 29 ground balls to 20 for the hosts.

Freshman Justin Burnette took all 13 faceoffs for Stevenson and also had two ground balls.  Dominic DeFazio had a team-high three caused turnovers and also had three ground balls, while D'Onofrio had a team-best five ground ball pickups.  Tyler Russo and Dylan Harris added two caused turnovers apiece.

Stevenson wraps up the regular season Saturday when it travels to Messiah College for a 7:00 faceoff with the top seed in the MAC Commonwealth on the line.  Both teams enter Saturday's game with 7-0 league marks.
