STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team fell in its MAC Commonwealth match to Arcadia by a 7-2 score. Freshman Jenna Skove led the way for the Mustangs (5-10, 2-4) with wins in both singles and doubles.
Skove and freshman Kelsi Mentzer evened up their No. 1 doubles record to 9-9 with an 8-4 victory.
Skove would later dominate in No. 1 singles with a straight-set, 6-2, 6-1 triumph. The win brings Skove's singles record to 7-8.
Junior Colleen Martin and freshman Nina Bretz suffered a tough loss in their No. 3 doubles match by a 9-7 score.
Sophomore Kirstyn Davidson took the first set in her No. 2 singles match, but would eventually drop the match in three sets, 1-6, 6-2, 6-4. The loss brings Davidson's record to 5-6.
Sophomore Christina Endy fell in her No. 4 singles match by a 7-5, 6-4 score.
The Mustangs will play in their regular-season finale at Lebanon Valley on Saturday, April 29 at 1:00 pm.
