FREDERICK, Md. - Stevenson women's tennis freshman Jenna Skove picked up two victories in leading the Mustangs to a 9-0 victory over host Hood.
Skove and freshman Kelsi Mentzer dominated their opponents in No. 1 doubles by an 8-0 score. The win improves the duos season record to 8-9.
Skove would later cruise in her No. 1 singles match, 6-0, 6-0. Mentzer won her No. 3 singles match by the same, 6-0, 6-0 score. With the victories, both Skove and Mentzer now have seven wins apiece on the season.
Sophomore Kirstyn Davidson improved her record to 6-5 with a straight-set victory in No. 2 singles.
The Mustangs (5-9, 2-3 MAC Commonwealth) won the remaining five matches by default.
Stevenson will look to even up its MAC Commonwealth record in a home match against Arcadia on Saturday, April 22 at 2:00 pm.
