DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The Stevenson women's tennis team dropped a close match to non-conference opponent Delaware Valley, 5-4.
Senior Ashlyn Hawbaker and sophomore Colleen Martin teamed up in No. 1 doubles to pick up a dramatic 9-7 victory.
Hawbaker also picked up her second singles win of the season with a victory over her No.1 opponent, 6-3, 6-1.
Freshman Christina Endy won her fifth match of the season with a straight-set victory in No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-1.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Van Tash picked up the other win for the Mustangs in her 6-3, 6-4 triumph in No. 5 singles.
Martin and junior Sara Tarbert won three games apiece in their singles losses.
The Mustangs will take on Goucher in a non-conference match on Friday, April 29. The match starts at 1:00 pm at the Greenspring Tennis Courts.
