Mustangs Fall to Host Alvernia, 9-0

READING, Pa. - The Stevenson women's tennis team fell in its conference road match to Alvernia, 9-0. 

Senior Ashlyn Hawbaker and sophomore Colleen Martin picked up two games in their No. 1 doubles match, but would eventually fall, 8-2. 

Junior Ty-Chelle Williams and freshman Christina Endy won three games in their No. 2 doubles setback, while sophomore Jennifer Garcia and junior Sara Tarbert won three games in their No. 3 doubles match.

Endy lost a hard-fought first set by a 7-6 score in her No. 5 singles match before falling in the second, 6-3.

Martin and Garcia won four games apiece in their singles defeats.

The Mustangs (0-13, 0-6) compete next at Delaware Valley on Sunday, April 24 at 1:00 pm.
