BEL AIR, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team dropped their non-conference road match to Harford Community College by a 7-2 score. Junior Elizabeth Mayer picked up wins in both singles and doubles for the Mustangs (0-5).
Mayer won her No. 6 singles match in dominating fashion, 6-1, 6-0 over Harford's Rachel Hall for her third win of the season.
Mayer also teamed up with freshman Christina Endy to win in No. 3 doubles, 8-4.
Endy picked up five games in her No. 4 singles match, but would drop the match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.
Senior Ashlyn Hawbaker and junior Ty-Chelle Williams won five games in their No. 1 doubles match, but would eventually fall, 8-5.
Williams won four games in her 6-3, 6-1 No. 2 singles defeat.
Stevenson begins its non-conference schedule at Lycoming on Saturday, April 2 at 1:00 pm.
