Mustangs Drop Third Straight Conference Match, Lose to Messiah 9-0

STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team dropped its third Commonwealth Conference match in a row, falling to Messiah 9-0. Junior Ashlyn Hawbaker picked up four games in her No. 3 singles match defeat.

Freshman Jennifer Garcia picked up three games in her No. 6 singles loss, while sophomore Emily Ostrander won two games in her No. 5 singles setback.

Senior Svetlana Widell and sophomore Ty-Chelle Williams picked up a game in their No. 1 doubles defeat.

Messiah (8-2, 2-1 MAC) has won two straight matches by a 9-0 score.

The Mustangs (3-8, 1-4 MAC) face Juniata in a non-conference road match on Friday, April 24th at 3:00 p.m.
