Mustangs Drop Commonwealth Conference Match to Albright, 8-1

READING, Pa. - The Stevenson women's tennis team dropped its first Commonwealth Conference road match of the season to host Albright, 8-1. The lone victory for the Mustangs (3-6, 1-2 MAC) came in sophomore Ashley Pinter and junior Ashlyn Hawbaker's 8-4 triumph in No. 2 doubles.

Pinter won three games in the first set of her No. 3 singles match, but would eventually fall in straight sets by the score of 6-3, 6-2.

Hawbaker and sophomore Emily Ostrander took three games in their No. 4 and No. 6 singles matches, but would both go on to lose by the same score of 6-1, 6-2.

Freshmen Colleen Martin and Jennifer Garcia won two games in their No. 3 doubles defeat.

The Mustangs compete next on Tuesday, April 14th when they host non-conference opponent Immaculata at 3 p.m. on the Greenspring Tennis Courts.
