Women's Tennis Falls to Messiah in Non-Conference Contest, 9-0

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Stevenson women's tennis team fell to the Falcons of Messiah College this afternoon in a non-conference matchup at Criste Courts.

The closest match of the day came at No. 4 singles where senior Katie Fersch recorded seven games against her opponent. Fersch posted the most games against the Falcons. Behind Fersch, at No. 3 singles, senior Jordan Rupard posted six games against Messiah's Eileen Barker.

Junior Svetlana Widell and Fersch teamed up at No. 2 doubles to record two games against their opposition. At No. 3 doubles, Rupard and freshman Bailey Hagen teamed up to post two games as well.

The Mustangs return to action on Saturday, April 26 in a Freedom conference match against FDU-Florham, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
