ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Stevenson women's tennis senior Jordan Rupard defeated Jenn Balbi in straight sets, ultimately pulling out a 6-4, 6-2 victory for the Mustangs lone win as they fell 8-1 at Eastern Thursday afternoon in a Freedom Conference match. 

Pairing up with freshman Emily Ostrander, the duo fell at No. 3 doubles. However, the pair posted more games against their opponent than any other doubles team for the afternoon.

In other singles action, freshman Bailey Hagen posted eight games against her opponent, while freshman Ashley Pinter recorded seven games against her opponent even though they could not pull out victories. 

The Mustangs return to action on Tuesday, April 22 versus the Hawks of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at 2 p.m. on the Greenspring Tennis Courts.
