Sherrie Wallace Finishes 15th in Shot Put at Frank Colden Invitational

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Stevenson women's track and field team continued its season on Saturday at the Frank Colden Invitational, hosted by Ursinus College. Sophomore Sherrie Wallace led the way for the Mustangs, earning a 15th place finish in the shot put.

Wallace's throw of 9.44 meters earned her a 15th place finish out of 36 throwers.

The 4x200-meter relay team of freshmen Jami Tiller and Denese Samuels, junior Monee Hill and sophomore Jazmine McSwain took sixth-place with a time of 2:05.93.

Individually, McSwain earned a spot in the MAC Indoor Championships with a time of 11.47 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles. Hill also earned a spot in the conference meet with 60-meter dash time of 8.59 seconds.

The Mustangs conclude their indoor regular season at the Susquehanna Invitational on Friday, February 14.
