READING, Pa. - The Stevenson women's track and field team captured several victories at the season-opening Alvernia Rust Buster.
Sarah Kroedel notched a personal best in the 60m hurdle preliminaries (9.74) before taking first in the finals with a time of 9.77.
Kaitlyn Hess placed first in the triple jump and second in the long jump with distances of 10.15m and 4.77m.
Kaliyah Heffner - who was making her collegiate debut - placed first in the 200m with a time of 27.55, earning her a spot in the MAC Indoor Championships.

Hannah Kepler took first in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:51.19.
Individually, Fowler, Hefner and
Destiny Stephens placed second, third and fourth in the 60m finals with times of 8.17, 8.38 and 8.44. Talley took second in the 60m hurdle finals with a time of 10.43.
Kyrah Agbemble notched a personal best in the weight throw with a top distance of 12.91m, giving her fourth overall.
Shaelyn O'Halloran, who was the lone runner in the mile, clocked a solid time of 6:08.96.
The Mustangs will have about seven weeks to prepare for their next meet - the two-day Liberty Open Invitational, which begins on Friday, January 23.
