The Seahawks (0-8) would rally to within two on two separate occasions, the last coming at 15-13 with 10:31 remaining in the first half. However, that would be as close as they would get as Stevenson answered with a 13-0 run, holding St. Mary's scoreless for 5:11 before a three-pointer by Olivia Nowlin stopped the drought at 5:20.
The Mustangs totaled 17 steals and totaled 30 points off turnovers while scoring 40 of its 67 points in the paint.
