Stevenson cut Hood's lead to five twice in the first six minutes of the second half before the Blazers pulled away, leading by as much as 20 at 60-40 with 3:53 remaining. The Mustangs closed the game on an 11-5 run in the final 2:27 to provide the final 67-53 scoreline.
Hood's Rachel Kessler was also in double figures with 12 points while Rachel Wiley grabbed 12 rebounds.
