Before the game the Mustangs celebrated the careers of their five seniors. Coach Paul Cantabene had these kind winds to say about her players:

Dustin Harlow: His contributions to Villa Julie Lacrosse can be measured by his tireless work effort to become a complete player and by his efforts in leading the Villa Julie College Lacrosse program towards a top 20 national lacrosse program.  Harlow transferred to VJC from Greensboro College in 2005 and became an excellent leader that has shown maturity beyond his years. Harlow played in over 35 career games and scored over 35 career goals. He has had an ever lasting impression on the program. Dustin's heart, desire and commitment to excellence will be missed.

Brandon Hastings: Hastings is a transfer from UMBC. Brandon has been a true team player in his career. He has played in 16 games in 2007 winning 126 face-offs out of 203 attempts for 62% and has totaled 32 career games. He boasts a career 90 ground balls. He scored his first VJC career goal this season against Messiah College. He is a tough nose competitor that is going to be a shining light not only in the business world but as a parent one day as well. Brandon is a Business Administration Major.

Kevin Donnelly: His contributions to Villa Julie Lacrosse cannot be measured by numbers, but by the effort he has given towards building a winning tradition for the Mustangs' lacrosse program. Donnelly is a gifted left handed attackman who set a school record last year for goals in a game versus Hood College with 9. Kevin is an old school attackman that has scored over 50 career goals to go along with a 51% career shooting percentage. A transfer from Greensboro College, Kevin has been a team favorite from the beginning. Starting 20 games in his 32 game career - Kevin has been a true gentleman on and off the field.

Zach Clark: Zach will go down as one of the greatest defenseman in Villa Julie College's short lacrosse history. A talented defenseman who regularly guarded the other teams best player. Clark has played in over 66 career games, a school record, and also holds the school record for penalties in a season and career. Clark has been an all conference player once in his career. He is a senior captain that has transformed himself into a well rounded young man on and off the field. One of the best qualities that teammates admire about him is the type of person he is. He is always sacrificing himself for his teammates, his family and for the community. Zach was one of the first recruits to help lead the lacrosse team to a national power. The four year starter will hopefully continue his career at VJC next year as a coach.

Chol Mueller: Chol, along with Zach, will go down as one of the greatest defenseman in Villa Julie College lacrosse history. Mueller is a fierce competitor who has left everything he has on the game and practice fields. A true team player that is willing to sacrifice personal glory for the betterment of the team. Chol is a Senior Captain that transferred from Washington and Jefferson College and is known as one of the toughest players in the country. Chol has played in 51 career games notching 1 goal and over 80 Career Ground Balls. He was a 2nd Team All CAC performer in 2007 and Chol help lead the team to a school record #12 national ranking in 2007. Chol's contribution to the lacrosse program and the Villa Julie Community will leave a lasting impression.
