Owings Mills, MD- The Mustangs were shutout by Wesley College
2-0 this afternoon at their last regular season road game.
Villa's defense was put to the test, as the Wolverines out-shot the
Mustangs 17-3. Wesley's Peter Hulem made the first goal off
of a corner-kick 11 minutes into the game, teammate John Burke made
it past Villa with 15 seconds left in the first half.
The second half was scoreless as the Mustangs battled against
the Wolverines. Goalie, Eric Lowman recorded
8 saves on the day. The Mustangs come home to play tomorrow
against NC Wesleyan for their last regular season game at
1:00.
The five seniors, Eric Lowman, Brent
Woolford, Matt Jackson, Josh
Kremer, and Kim Myrick will be honored
before the game tomorrow for all of their accomplishments and
dedication to the team.
