Shannon Henretty, a member of the Class of 2014, she spent three seasons on the women's cross-country team from 2011-13 and one on the women's track and field team during the 2012 indoor and outdoor seasons. Henretty competed in two NCAA Division III Mideast Region Cross Country Championships and the 2013 Middle Atlantic Conference Championship. On the track, she finished eighth in the 10,000 meters at the 2010 Capital Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. Henretty was a three-time conference All-Academic selection and recipient of the Dick Watts Award which is given to a senior transfer with the highest-grade point average. Serving as an assistant coach for the cross-country program, she passed away in December 2014.
