Gohlinghorst was hired in June 2011 as the Assistant to the Athletic Director. He was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director the following year.

• Oversees the ticket office, which includes football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse
• Assists in game day management, overseeing game day operations of stadium sports
• Administrative oversight for both the men's and women's swimming programs
• Serves on the compliance, finance, and Homecoming committees

• Worked for Rich Resources, LLC as a landscape contractor, performing multiple different tasks to meet the needs of his customers
• Experience as an assistant project manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company
• Freelance photographer
• Sheet metal mechanic for Ray Machine Inc.

• A 2011 graduate of Stevenson, getting his Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies
• Resides in Abingdon, Maryland with his wife, Liz, and two children, Jake and Emma
