Jessica Gieselman

One of the most decorated players in Stevenson women's volleyball history, Gieselman joined the coaching staff prior to the 2019 season.

The first All-American in program history, Gieselman finished her career as a three-time All-American and two-time MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year. She led the Mustangs to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances. She is still the program's all-time assist leader with 4,674 assists, 1,589 more than the next person. As a senior, Gieselman led all of Division III with 11.57 assists per set, a mark that still ranks eighth all-time in Division III.

Additionally, Giesleman was inducted into Stevenson’s Dick Watts Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024, and was part of the 2013 Team of Tradition also inducted in 2024.

Gieselman started her coaching career as an assistant coach with the Carroll County Volleyball Club, serving in that position from 2011-14 as well as in 2018. She assisted in club tryouts, as well as training in all aspects of the sport. Gieselman served as a position trainer for setters.

Gieselman graduated from Stevenson in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. In December 2018, Gieselman earned her Master of Arts in Education from University of Maryland Baltimore County.
