Chris Ramer

bio

Ramer was named the program's first head coach in 2004, earning six MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year honors. 

An inductee into the Dick Watts Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2020, Ramer has been as Stevenson/Villa Julie since 1995 in a variety of roles. He also serves as the head women's golf coach.

  • Guided Stevenson to MAC Commonwealth crown and NCAA Nationals appearance in 2021-22
  • Named 2021-22 MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year 
  • Mustangs have won four consecutive MAC titles (2016-19)
  • Won the 2017 MAC title, coming behind from 14 strokes to win the championship by 16 strokes
  • Stevenson won three tournaments in 2017-18, 2016-17, 2015-16
  • Coached the 2015 MAC Championship Individual Champion
  • Finished the season with seven straight top-three finishes
