Nathan Rauscher

Rauscher joined the Mustangs coaching staff in 2017, serving as an assistant coach.

Rauscher has been in coaching for over 18 years, currently serving as the Girls Technical Director for Liverpool International Academy in central Maryland.  Prior to returning to Maryland, Rauscher served as the women's soccer head coach and Assistant Athletic Director at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. He was named the 2016 Skyline Coach of the Year after leading the team to a program-best record and its first-ever playoff victory.  He previously assisted his former coach at Hamilton College, where he recruited the core players that reached consecutive NESCAC Championship Finals.

Rauscher coached alongside current head coach Tati Korba from 2012-14, working primarily with the defense and goalkeepers. During his time with the Gophers, the team broke 5 school season records, and two freshman goalies were named the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Outside of his college coaching, Rauscher has coached boys and girl’s teams for Maryland ODP, and guided numerous youth teams to on field success, while developing players that went on to compete at NCAA DI, DII, and DIII institutions. He has also been a lead coach at camps for UVA, Navy, and Colgate.

Rauscher has several certifications, including the USC Premier Diploma and USC Goalkeeping Level II Diploma.  He is currently working toward his USSF C License.

A 2003 graduate of Hamilton College, Rauscher earned his Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Master’s in Education in Athletic Leadership and Administration from Goucher College in 2014.
