Courtney Brown

Courtney Brown joins the Mustang Cross Country and Track and Field coaching staffs for the 2023-24 seasons. She comes most recently from Division I Bradley University, having served as the assistant track and field coach for sprints, jumps, hurdles, and relays. Under her charge, Bradley's athletes set eight school records, and another eight student-athletes finished within the top eight at the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) championships in the women's 400m and triple jump.
 
Before Bradley, Brown spent two seasons at Ohio Christian University. In the 2020-21 season, she served as the assistant cross country and track and field coach before being elevated to the head coaching role in 2021-22. She helped the program to six new school records in her time there.
 
Brown's own career took place at NCAA Division II Tiffin University in Ohio, where she competed for the Dragons from 2016-2020. She received her bachelor's degree in 2020 before completing her master's at Ohio Christian in 2022.
