        Clifton was named the head men's and women's tennis coach on August 31, 2015. Clifton also serves as an advisor for Stevenson SAAC.

  • Advanced to the MAC Commonwealth Final, falling to Lebanon Valley, 5-2. 
  • Captured second-straight MAC Commonwealth Title then advanced to the 2021 NCAA Tournament Second Round. 
  • Advanced to the 2019 NCAA Tournament Second Round, sweeping Clarks Summitt in the opening round
  • Led the Mustangs to the 2019 MAC Commonwealth Title 2019, going undefeated in league play
  • Also had the program's first-ever individual MAC Commonwealth Champion (Peter Appiah Jr./Lukas Sanidas)
  • Won a program-record 17 matches in 2018-19, including starting, 12-0
  • Reached the MAC Commonwealth semifinals in three straight seasons (2016-18)
  • Advanced to the ECAC Championship (2018)
  • Finished third in the ECAC Tournament (2016), winning the consolation match
  • Led the team to 10 straight wins in his first season (2015-16)
