Kylie Ryan was named an assistant coach with the Stevenson track and field program in August, 2021. She works primarily with the Mustang sprint, hurdles and multi event groups.
Ryan comes to Stevenson after spending three years as an assistant coach with the track and field program at SUNY Brockport, where she worked with the sprinters and hurdlers as well as athletes competing in multis. She helped coach 2021 NCAA Division III men's long jump national champion Egypt Page, who was Brockport's first men's outdoor national champion since 1975.
Before joining the Brockport staff, Ryan was an assistant coach at SUNY Cortland in 2017-18. She began her coaching career at her alma mater, SUNY Geneseo, during the 2016-17 academic year.
Ryan had a successful four-year career at SUNY Geneseo. She was a SUNYAC champion in the 400m hurdles in 2015, helping her team claim the SUNYAC title. She served as team captain her senior year while competing at the NCAA Championships indoors, running the 400m leg of her team's DMR and outdoors competing in the 400m hurdles. Ryan graduated with five school records and over 20 top ten performances in team history.
A 2016 graduate of Geneseo, Ryan majored in Biology with a minor in Mathematics. She recently wrapped up her Master's in Athletic Administration at SUNY Brockport. Ryan holds a Level I coaching certification from the USTFCCCA.
