Grant McCarthy returns for his 2nd season with Stevenson for the 2022-23 campaign. 

Previously McCarthy was a distance runner for Washington & Jefferson where he earned PAC Rookie of the Week four times (Two indoor, Two outdoor) and ECAC Rookie of the Week once during the 2016-17 season. He then transferred to Case Western for the 18-19 and 19-20 seasons. McCarthy competed in the indoor Mile, 3000m, and 5000m; and outdoor 1500m and 10,000m.

McCarthy finished third in the 10,000 meter run at the 2019 UAA Championship (31:41.93).
