No. 17 Field Hockey takes down Arcadia, 6-0

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The No. 17 Stevenson field hockey team defeated Arcadia 6-0 on Saturday afternoon, earning its second consecutive shutout to open the 2026 season.

The Mustangs wasted little time getting on the board, as Sydney Aylward found the back of the cage just 1:35 into the contest off a feed from Lauren Schulz. Shae Bennett followed just a minute and a half later to give Stevenson an early 2-0 advantage.
After a scoreless second quarter, Taylor Valoczki extended the Mustangs' lead at the 42:21 mark in the third.

Stevenson continued its offensive push in the fourth quarter, with Gracyn Catalano finding the back of the cage off an assist from Lauren Tobin. Tobin then added a goal of her own 10 minutes later to put the Mustangs ahead 5-0. With less than a minute remaining, Madison Rebhorn scored her first collegiate goal off a pass from Stella Khazen to cap the 6-0 victory.

Tobin led Stevenson with three points on one goal and one assist, while Aylward, Bennett, Valoczki and Catalano each recorded two points with a goal apiece. Schulz and Khazen each added an assist.
Jordan Vradenburgh and Ollie Winterle split time in goal, combining for three saves while holding Arcadia scoreless.

The Mustangs prepare to travel to McDaniel on Wednesday. The contest is slated for 6 p.m.
