NEWARK, De. - The Stevenson men's cross country team opened up its season at the University of Delaware Invitational.
Anthony Hagan led the Mustangs with a 6k time of 23:30.4, which gave him 26th out 77 runners from Divisions I, II and III.
Jay Crawley finished just behind Hagan and in 29th with a time of 23:37.8.Â
Nathanel Dagne opened up his collegiate career with a time of 24:26.9, while
Sam Kleiner crossed the line in 24:54.4.
Rounding out the team score was
Luke Jolles who kicked off his Stevenson career with a 25:59.2.Â
Delaware State (Division I) won the team title with a score of 20. The Mustangs finished seventh out of 8 teams with a score of 168.Â
Stevenson competes next at the Shenandoah Twilight Meet on Friday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.Â
