OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson University women's basketball head coach Casey Filiault will begin her first season at the helm of the Mustangs as the program announced its 2026-27 schedule. Stevenson will play a 25-game regular season slate featuring 12 home contests inside the Owings Mills Gymnasium.
Filiault opens her Stevenson tenure on Nov. 10 as the Mustangs host Bridgewater College before remaining at home for match ups against Trinity Washington (Nov. 12), Washington and Lee (Nov. 15) and Washington College (Nov. 18). Stevenson then heads on the road for games at Lancaster Bible (Nov. 24) and Arcadia (Nov. 29).
The Mustangs begin the opening month of conference play with a trip to Neumann on Dec. 2 before returning home to host Widener on Dec. 5. Stevenson closes the first half of December with a conference road contest at Albright (Dec. 12) before visiting Gettysburg (Dec. 15). The final home game before the holiday break comes against Hood on Dec. 18, followed by a non-conference match up with Salisbury on Dec. 30.
Stevenson opens the new year in Virginia Beach against Batten on Jan. 2 before beginning the heart of its MAC Commonwealth schedule.
Conference play resumes with a home contest against Alvernia on Jan. 6 before the Mustangs travel to Eastern on Jan. 9. Stevenson returns home to face York (Pa.) on Jan. 16 before back-to-back road contests at Messiah (Jan. 20) and Widener (Jan. 23). The Mustangs close January by hosting Neumann on Jan. 27 and Albright on Jan. 30.
February begins with road trips to Hood (Feb. 3) and Alvernia (Feb. 6) before Stevenson celebrates Senior Day against Eastern on Feb. 13. The regular season concludes with a home match up against Messiah on Feb. 17before the Mustangs travel to York (Pa.) for the regular-season finale on Feb. 20.
Following the regular season, Stevenson will look to earn a berth in the MAC Commonwealth Women's Basketball Championship. The postseason begins with the Play-in Game on Feb. 22, followed by the semifinal round on Feb. 24, before culminating with the MAC Commonwealth Championship Final on Feb. 27. The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2027 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship.
