HOBOKEN, N.J. – The No. 11 Stevenson field hockey team earned a hard fought 1-0 win over the No. 14 Stevens Ducks on Friday evening. With the win, the Mustangs remain undefeated, progressing to an 8-0 record.
The program continues to grow the most successful season in program history with eight straight wins with only one goal against.
The contest included a back-and-forth battle between the teams, until the fourth quarter where
Monica Druckemiller netted the game-winner at the 50:22 mark off an assist from
Lauren Schulz.
Jordan Vradenburgh slotted two saves, as Schulz slotted a defensive save.
The Mustangs will return home to host St. Mary's College of Maryland on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. The team will be playing to promote the Gretta Ehret Dream Crazy Foundation.
