NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Office announced the results of the 2026 MAC Commonwealth Field Hockey Coaches' Preseason Poll on Wednesday morning. The Stevenson field hockey team earned the No. 1 spot after capturing the MAC Commonwealth Championship last season.

The Mustangs collected 61 points and received six first-place votes. York (Pa.) landed in second with 55 points and two first-place votes, while Messiah also tallied 55 points and received one first-place vote.

Hood received 38 points in the poll, landing in fourth, while Widener followed in fifth with 36 points.

Alvernia was slotted sixth in the poll with 32 points, while newcomer Neumann tallied 20 points to finish seventh. Eastern and Albright followed in eighth and ninth, respectively.

The Mustangs will open their season on September 1 when they host Washington College at 6 p.m.
