Field Hockey announces 2026 season slate, Following a record-breaking 2025 season

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson field hockey program announced its 2026 schedule on Monday morning as the reigning 2025 MAC Commonwealth Champions.

Following a record-breaking 2025 campaign, Head Coach Morgan Bitting enters her fifth season at the helm of the Mustangs.

Stevenson opens the season with a pair of home contests, welcoming Washington (Md.) on Sept. 1 before hosting Arcadia later that week. The Mustangs then hit the road for the first time, traveling to McDaniel for a Sept. 9 matchup under the lights.

The Mustangs return home on Sept. 12 to host Penn State Harrisburg on Senior Day before beginning a two-game road swing with trips to Elizabethtown and Ursinus.

Stevenson returns to Owings Mills East on Sept. 23 to host Maryland rival Salisbury. The matchup will serve as the program's Morgan's Message Game, raising awareness for mental health and helping break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

The Mustangs travel to nationally ranked Stevens on Sept. 26 before returning home for a three-game homestand featuring several special promotions.

Stevenson closes the month of September by hosting St. Mary's College of Maryland on Sept. 30. The contest will recognize the Gretta Ehret Dream Crazy Foundation, honoring the life and legacy of Gretta Ehret, who lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer at a young age.

MAC Commonwealth play begins on Oct. 3 as the Mustangs host Alvernia for their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game and Youth Day. Stevenson remains at home on Oct. 7 to welcome Widener for its Faculty Appreciation Game.

Following a bye week, the Mustangs travel north to take on York (Pa.) before returning to Owings Mills East for a rematch of the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Championship Game against Messiah during Homecoming on Oct. 17.

Stevenson heads to Delaware County, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 21 to face new conference member Neumann before traveling to Albright later that week.

The Mustangs wrap up the home portion of the regular season on Oct. 28 against Hood before closing the regular season with a Halloween matchup at Eastern.
