Lexington, Ky. (July 23) – The Stevenson University men's volleyball team earned recognition for its success in the classroom, receiving the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, the organization announced Thursday.
The Mustangs were among 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs nationwide to earn the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award after posting a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale throughout the academic year.
The honor marks the sixth time in program history that Stevenson has received the AVCA Team Academic Award, highlighting the team's continued commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
