Owings Mills, Md. (July 20) – The Stevenson University men's and women's cross country teams have announced their 2026 schedules, highlighted by the return of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Cross Country Championships to the Greenspring Campus and the annual MAC Championships Preview Meet.
The Mustangs will compete in five meets during the 2026 season, beginning with the Delaware XC Opener on Sept. 4 before traveling to the Shenandoah Twilight Meet on Sept. 11.
Stevenson will then welcome conference competition to campus on Sept. 18 for the MAC Championships Preview Meet, giving teams an opportunity to race the championship course ahead of the conference meet.
Following the preview event, the Mustangs will travel to the Cairn Highlander Invitational on Oct. 3 and then to the Jack St. Clair Invite on Oct. 10 for their final regular-season competition before returning home to host the 2026 MAC Cross Country Championships on Oct. 31.
The 2026 season marks the second time Stevenson has hosted the MAC Cross Country Championships, having previously welcomed the conference's top runners to the Greenspring Campus in 2018. The championship meet returns to Owings Mills after eight years, providing the Mustangs with a home-course advantage as they pursue conference success and hopeful NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional success on November 14.
