STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team fell to
7th-ranked Johns Hopkins in their final tune-up before the MAC Commonwealth semifinals by a 7-0 score.
Luke Appleman and
Brandon Nguyen lost a hard-fought match in No.1 doubles, 6-4. With the loss, the duo end their regular season at 8-4. The Mustangs would lose the other two doubles matches by scores of 6-0.
Appleman fell in No. 1 by a 6-1, 6-2 margin, while
King Nacua (No. 2) and
Christian Coulson (No. 4) both lost by scores of 6-1, 6-0.
The Mustangs will be back in action when they travel to Reading, Pa. to take on top-seeded Albright in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals on Wed., April 29.Â
