WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team (4-5, 1-1 MACC) cruised to a 7-0 victory in their non-conference match at McDaniel.
Luke Appleman and
Brandon Nguyen improved to 5-2 on the year after winning in No. 1 doubles, 6-2.
Nickolas Valis and
King Nacua won by the same 6-2 score in No. 2, giving them their second win as a duo.
Nate Kelly and
Christian Coulson also won 6-2. Kelly and Coulson are now 2-0 on the season.
Nguyen won in No. 3 by a 6-1, 6-1 score - his fifth win of the year. Coulson cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory in No. 4, improving his record to 5-4.
Kelly shutout his opponent, 6-0, 6-0 for his fourth win. Valis won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
The Mustangs resume their MAC Commonwealth schedule on Wed., April 15 at Messiah. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
