GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team (4-6, 1-2 MACC) dropped its MAC Commonwealth match to host Messiah by a 7-0 score. The Falcons remain undefeated in conference play.
Brandon Nguyen and
Luke Appleman fell to 5-3 on the year after losing their No. 1 match, 6-2.
Nickolas Valis and
King Nacua dropped a tight match in No. 2, 6-4.
Nate Kelly and
Christian Coulson picked up the lone win for the Mustangs, 7-6. Kelly and Coulson are 3-0 as a duo.
Appleman fell to 5-5 on the year after dropping his No. 1 match, 6-3, 6-3. Nacua fell in No. 2, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4), which drops his record to 4-5.
Nguyen fell in No. 3 by a 6-3, 6-2 margin, while Coulson lost a hard-fought No. 4 match, 6-4, 7-5.
The Mustangs will be back in action on Sat., April 18 (Senior Day) against York (Pa.). First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Greenspring Campus Tennis Courts.
