READING, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team (3-5, 1-1 MACC) picked up its first MAC Commonwealth win in a 7-0 rout of host Alvernia.
Brandon Nguyen and
Luke Appleman picked up a 6-4 win in No. 1 doubles, which improves their record to 4-2.
Nickolas Valis and
King Nacua won their first match as a duo, 6-3. In No. 3,
Christian Coulson and
Nate Kelly cruised to a 6-2 victory.
Appleman evened up his singles record at 4-4 in dominating fashion, 6-0, 6-1. Nacua won his third match of the year in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
Nguyen won his No. 3 match by a 6-1, 6-0 score, while Coulson took his No. 4 match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2.
Kelly won his third singles match by a 6-1, 6-1 margin.
Dominic Duncan shutout his No. 6 opponent, 6-0, 6-0.
The Mustangs will travel to Westminster to take on McDaniel in a non-conference match on Monday, April 13 at 4 p.m.
