NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Stevenson University men's lacrosse team was selected second in the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Preseason Poll, announced Thursday morning.
 
The Mustangs enter the 2026 season following a runner-up finish in the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Championship. With their national ranked achievements last season, Stevenson earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the second round before falling to Lynchburg.
 
York (Pa.) was predicted to finish first in the poll after capturing last season's conference title, receiving 49 points and seven first-place votes. Stevenson followed closely in second with 43 points, while Eastern notched 37 points to claim third.
 
Messiah was slotted fourth with 29 points, trailed by Widener in fifth with 27. The remainder of the poll was completed by Hood, Albright and Alvernia.
 
The Stevenson Mustangs will kick off the 2026 season on February 7, against Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, with opening draw scheduled for 1 PM.
