Owings Mills, Md. (January 2) - The Stevenson University men's volleyball team has been picked to finish fourth in the 2026 MAC Men's Volleyball Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference on Friday morning.
The Mustangs collected 40 points in the poll, which was voted on by the league's head coaches. Stevens earned the top spot with 62 points and six first-place votes, followed closely by Messiah with 58 points and three first-place votes. Misericordia rounded out the top three with 51 points, narrowly edging the Mustangs for third. Arcadia (35 points), Widener (29), Eastern (25), King's (16), and Hood (8) completed the preseason rankings.
The MAC Commonwealth slate will feature home-and-away match ups with each conference opponent, leading up to the conference championship tournament in mid-April.
Stevenson enters the 2026 season looking to build on recent success and challenge the conference's top programs. With a strong returning core and key contributors ready to take on expanded roles, the Mustangs aim to outperform their preseason projection and contend for a spot at the top of the MAC standings.
