FREDERICK, Md. – The Stevenson University women's volleyball team used a balanced effort on Wednesday night in its MAC Commonwealth opener, blanking Hood by a 3-0 score.
Set scores were 25-12, 25-21 and 25-21 in favor of the Mustangs, who leveled their record to 5-5 overall and 1-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.
For Stevenson, the stat sheet was extremely balanced.
Logan Burge continued her outstanding play with seven kills to just one error on 14 total attacks for an attack percentage of .429.
Sydney Salazar had six kills to just one error on 17 total attacks
(.294) while Autumm Henry hit .333 (5-1-12).
Giulia Viglietta had five kills as well.
Declyn Tooze had 13 assists with
Courtney Foose getting 11.
Viglietta had seven service aces, with Burge and Tooze having three each,
Lillianna Hornickle had a total of seven blocks (one solo, six assist) with Salazar assisting on three.
Stevenson will host Sweet Briar and PSU-York on Saturday in an afternoon tri-match at 2:30 p.m.
