SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Stevenson women's soccer team (3-2-3) fell 1-0 to the Susquehanna Riverhawks on Wednesday evening.
The Mustangs fought a hard battle throughout the match-up as the Riverhawks fired away 22 shots overall, and seven shots on goal. Despite the Mustangs efforts, Susquehanna netted a penalty kick goal in the 87
th minute of the contest.
In the contest, five Mustangs put up a shot, as
Kamille Purcell and
Alegra Serrano each tallied a shot on goal.
Isabella Serano made six stops on the evening for Stevenson.
The Mustangs prepare to return home to host the King's College (Pa.) Monarchs on Saturday. The team will their holding a Mental Health Awareness Game, and kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. on Owings Mills East.
