Men's Soccer Team Effort Holds Tie at #8 Dickinson

Carlisle, Pa. – The Stevenson men's soccer team battled No. 8 Dickinson to a thrilling 1-1 draw in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

The Mustangs wasted no time making a statement as senior Ellis Amo found the back of the net in the 8th minute for his fifth goal of the season, and Stevenson's lone tally of the match. That early strike proved critical, as the Mustangs managed just one more shot in the first half compared to Dickinson's nine attempts in pursuit of an equalizer.

The Red Devils finally broke through in the 65th minute to even the contest. From there, Stevenson's back line and goalkeeper Nolen Olson-Warwick stood tall, denying Dickinson's relentless pressure down the stretch. Olsen-Warwick recorded six saves, including several in the closing minutes, to preserve the draw.

Stevenson returns home for Senior Day on Saturday, September 27, hosting Delaware Valley at 4 p.m.
