SALISBURY, Md. – The Stevenson field hockey squad (5-1) fell to No. 4 Salisbury Seagulls (5-1) 2-0 on Wednesday evening.
The Mustang defense held fierce against the No. 4 ranked Seagulls, but Salisbury put their first goal away with two seconds left in the second quarter. Stevenson held the Seagulls back once again in the second half, but in the 46
th minute, the Seagulls netted one more goal to pull away with the 2-0 win over Stevenson.
Gracyn Catalano,
Lauren Schulz, and
Sydney Aylward each put up a shot on goal in the contest.
Jordan Vradenburgh stood strong in cage, making 12 saves on the night.
The Mustangs will prepare to return to Owings Mills to host the Gettysburg Bullets on Saturday, September 20. The contest is slated for 1 p.m.
