Ryan Thomas finished tied for ninth with a score of even par at the two-day Kinder Williams Invitational, held at the Lakeview Golf Club. The Mustangs improved on their opening round score by five strokes with a 298 (+10), which moved them up two spots and into seventh place.
Zachary Wilcox bettered his opening round score by four strokes with a 73 (+1), while
Leo Perez improved by one stroke with a 75. Rounding out the team score for Stevenson was
Gavin Barton, who finished the day with a 77 - a two-stroke improvement.
Justin Allen and
Aidan Dillahay finished the tournament with scores of +12 and +15, respectively.
Walker Gillespie of Bridgewater won the tournament with a final score of -7, while his school won the team title with a score of -4.
Stevenson tees off next at the Timbers Duel Match, hosted by Hood and held at the Timbers at Troy Golf Club, on Thursday, Sept. 18.
