Stevenson, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team dropped a tight match to Marymount in its season opener, 4-3.
Luke Appleman and
Brandon Nguyen won their No. 1 doubles match by a 6-3 score.
Dominic Duncan and
Christian Coulson also picked up a doubles win for the Mustangs.
Appleman and Nguyen would drop their No. 1 and 2 singles matches in straight sets by scores of 6-3, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-1.
The lone singles wins for the Mustangs came from
King Nacua in No. 3 (6-3, 6-3) and Duncan (6-4, 7-5) in No. 6.
Stevenson's next match will take place at the Goucher College Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20.
