Harrisonburg, Pa. - Ryan Thomas fired a one-under par 71 and is currently tied for eighth after the opening round of the season-opening Kinder Williams Invitational, held at the Lakeview Golf Club. The Mustangs are 10th out of 16 teams with a total score of 303 (+15).

Leo Perez finished the day at +4, while Zachary Wilcox finished a stroke behind with a 77 (+5). 

Gavin Barton rounded out the team score for the Mustangs with a 79 (+7).

Justin Allen and Aidan Dillahay carded rounds of 81 and 83, respectively.

Groves Williams of the Hampden-Sydney "B" team leads the field at -5. Bridgewater leads the team standings at even par.

The second and final round takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
